12 Mar Roof renovation Ayer: in the historic village center
The roof renovation Ayer project is now complete. This intervention involves a historic village house near the church. The project focuses on the roof to respect this protected zone.
The old zinc roof provided poor thermal insulation. Our team carried out a complete repair. The new roof integrates efficient thermal insulation meeting current standards. The thinness and traditional expression of the building are preserved.
In accordance with heritage regulations, the roofing uses larch wood shingles. A slight slope adjustment improves water drainage. The existing dormers fit perfectly into this new geometry.
The project also reactivates the trace of an old balcony. This space becomes a beautiful terrace facing the Imperial Crown. Discover the details of this work on our projects page.
