In the Champsec district, Greenparc Sion turns a former industrial zone into a new sustainable residential neighbourhood. The development brings together eight buildings and 191 apartments, from studios to 4.5-room units, which all meet high energy-efficiency standards.
First, the building layout preserves distant views, limits overlooking and opens visual corridors across the site. This arrangement therefore structures the neighbourhood and balances built volumes against open space.
The basement also houses parking and technical infrastructure. Ground floors thus make room for generous landscaping: vegetable gardens, pedestrian and cycle paths, green areas and playgrounds create a setting that encourages encounters and neighbourhood life.
Finally, the last construction phase has opened its doors and completes the development. In parallel, the outdoor landscaping structures the shared spaces and reinforces the quality of the planted ground floors.
Greenparc now forms a genuine piece of city, where architecture, landscape and everyday use meet. Residents enjoy a lively, welcoming environment that fits fully into its Sion context. The City of Sion also presents the Champsec district on its website.
