About This Project

Located in the historic heart of Geneva, this 17th-century Renaissance building blends harmoniously into the dense urban fabric of the old town. Characterised by horizontal lines, prominent cornices, pedimented doors, galleries and arcades, this innovative type of private house was once widely imitated across the city.

Today, the former concierge lodge on the ground floor has undergone a complete renovation. Converted into an apartment while preserving its strong heritage value, the space has been redesigned to provide fluid, functional and high-quality living areas. Technical performance has also been enhanced to meet modern standards and future needs.

Particular attention was paid to the conservation and integration of historic features — columns, vaults, windows — that give the place its unique character. The project reflects a respectful approach, combining meticulous restoration with the enhancement of Geneva’s architectural heritage.
