Located in the heart of the village, this house renovation in Puplinge reinterprets a 19th-century building. The project does not seek to freeze history but to reveal its layers by combining ancient techniques with modern uses. The rubble stone walls were exposed and then coated with a traditional lime plaster, restoring the building’s breathability. On the facade, the restored molasse stone interacts with contemporary metalwork elements.
Inside, this house renovation in Puplinge transforms spatiality through the creation of a central double-height space. As the true heart of the project, it captures natural light and connects the living areas to the newly converted attic. This meticulous work of structural consolidation and sanitation ensures the building’s longevity.
