This alpine chalet project is conceived as a refined and contemporary interpretation of traditional Savoyard architecture. Set within an exceptional snowy landscape, the chalet opens generously onto its surroundings through a large wraparound terrace, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
The design was guided by a clear intention to respect the established codes of mountain chalet architecture. The solid timber structure, steeply pitched roof adapted to alpine climatic conditions, and the presence of emblematic architectural elements firmly anchor the building in its local context. The façades, clad in carefully finished timber boarding, create a warm and authentic atmosphere while highlighting traditional craftsmanship.
Conceived as a comfortable and functional family home, the chalet combines character, restraint, and careful landscape integration, resulting in a welcoming and durable living environment that remains in harmony with its natural setting.
