The project is developed according to a logic of intangible sedimentary layers. Mineral in nature, these layers anchor the dwellings within the plot and accommodate all the technical spaces, the so called service spaces. Between these strata, lighter interstices are inserted: a timber structure, free from structural constraints, which houses the main living areas, the served spaces.
This lightweight framework, largely glazed, opens generously to the outside, offering light, transparency and continuity with the surrounding landscape.
The duality between the rigidity and mass of the mineral layers and the lightness and openness of the timber volumes creates a contrasted yet balanced architecture, where rhythm becomes a structuring principle.
This layered composition naturally extends into the exterior spaces. The gardens, also organized in parallel bands, prolong the interior sequences. Each planted layer acts as a visual filter, ensuring privacy between the dwellings. All gardens are oriented westward, directly extending the living areas in order to capture the evening light. On the upper floor, private balconies, also facing west, provide the bedrooms with an intimate opening toward the landscape and the soft light of the end of the day.
